Chef Jim Modesitt talks to Teri about feeding the First Responders, Volunteers and Evacuees in the Wine Country Fire

It was about 10pm on Sunday October 8th, 2017 when one of the most destructive fires in California’s history began.  The fires in Napa and Sonoma Counties burned for over 3 weeks.  Over 8400 structures were lost and 43 persons have died.  One of the first people on the scene was San Rafael’s Chef Jim Modesitt.  He was called upon to feed the First Responders.  He ended up spending weeks serving BBQ to thousands.  We had a chance to talk to Chef Jim and thank him for all his hard work.
