Remembering Mayor Ed Lee

I only had the good fortune to meet Mayor Ed Lee a couple of times.  On Thanksgiving our family likes to head over to help feed the homeless at the Glide Memorial Church.  Mayor Lee was always there rolling up his sleeves and carving turkey for the thousands of people that Glide serves.  When the Mayor walks into the room, everyone wants to say hi.  He was always friendly, warm and inviting.  He told me how much he loved the Christmas Music on KOIT.  This Sunday December 17th there is a public memorial to honor Mayor Lee at San Francisco City Hall in the Rotunda at 3pm.  This is free and open to the public, as building capacity allows.  Rest In Peace Mayor Lee and thank you for your service to our fair city by the bay.
