Kick up your slaw with some jalapeno and lime!
1/2 cup fresh lime juice
1 teaspoon sugar
3/4 teaspoon kosher salt
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
3 tablespoons olive oil
1/2 cup red onion sliced thin
1/2 cup cilantro chopped
6 cups of cabbage (red and green) shredded
1 cup of shredded carrot
(save time by grabbing a 16 ounce pre shredded bag with a mix of carrot and cabbage)
4 jalapeño peppers, halved crosswise with seeds removed.
Then cut into thin crosswise slices.Then cut into thin crosswise slices.
In a bowl whisk lime juice, sugar, salt and pepper. Slowly add olive oil, stirring constantly.
Add onion, cilantro and slaw. All jalapeno halves and toss well to coat. Chill for 1 hour
